Story
Professor Rajaji (Rajendra Prasad) is a widowed professor. His daughter commits suicide after being cheated by her lover. He is now a loner in the world. He decides to try and council people from committing suicide. He gives an advertisement in the news pare to which many people respond and contact him.
Each one of them has his own problem and they are unable to cope with their problems and want to end their lives. The different characters in the film are played by different well know character artists of Tollywood., Ravikondal rao ,Krishna bhagvan, Naresh, Radha Kumari etc.
The old professor now thinks up a plan, he says that they all should hire a Bus and go to Srisailam and drive the bus into a dangerous valley and commit an accident which leads to their death. This will beneficial for their families after their death as the accident assumed suicide will not bring a bad name to their families.
So the characters find a driver who is also willing to commit suicide and start their journey. By the time the characters reach the destination their minds are totally changed and the Climax has to be seen on the silver screen.
Performance
Rajendra Prasad comes with a neat and justified performance but, not up to the mark of his previous hit Aa Naluguru. But Rajendra Prasad lived up the character and it is for sure a memorable film in his career. Brahmanandham plays a special appearance role. Raghu babu rises up to entertain with some jokes.
The film is made with a good intent. But the director has failed to mould the film in a proper way. The audience does not seem to empathize with the problems of the characters much. There is also no depth in the story and presentation’s little more homework by the director would have done wonders for the film at the box office.
Since this is the holiday’s season with the 2007 year coming to the end, all the families will go to the theatre for relaxation with their children. But though this movie does not have anything for the Kids entertainment, but teens and above the age of 20 will definitely learn something frioom this film. At the end this is a strong message oriented film for the entire society and especially for the people who are sick with their day to day lives and think that Suicide is the solution.
