Telugu News: From being as glam dolls in the tollywood, at last the female leads of Telugu are striking again as the film scripts are being carved for them.

Be it Annasuya, released last December, where Bhoomika ruled the silver screen or the recent released Mantra in which Charmy has been the center of highlight in the movie. And both films are fetching good amount financially at the Box office.
Strapped ass cute n bubbly college going roles, actresses have for few years lamented the absence of different roles in the countries biggest film industry. When their counter parts in bollywood had started waking up to experimental cinema and started playing the unexplored roles, leading ladies her in tollywood were still in the rain, watching the hero’s getting the limelight.
But this bad phase for the heroines seems to be over. Now the scripts are being made in the mind with the heroine’s image and the shooting schedules are planned only after their availability. Most importantly, they are being paid well according to their demand.

A small example comes here. Mantra movie which released last month December had Charmy as a lead heroine in the film and has gathered a fan craze both critically and also financially it has fetched good applauds. And with the success, charmy was sure that she gets the amount she demands and also finally bagged a good lucrative amount.

Incidentally, these all films are titled after all big women names like Anasuya and the Maissama Ips of Mumaitha and Satya Bhama which also featured Bhoomika chawla in the lead.

It is said that Bhoomika is leading the pack of female actresses with a remuneration of 35 lakhs and some are also fetching more than this. But one pointy is for sure that they are not at all getting less than 20 lakhs.
And the one common point in all off them is the cost of making the films. All the films from Annasuya , Mantra, Maisamma IPs and Satyabhama are all low budget films and all of them have fetched some profits at the tollywood box office.
And with this the array of female oriented films seems to be never ending. More to come are Tabu’s Idhee Sangathi and Sanghavi’s INDRANI film and also Sindhu Tulani ‘s next untitled film. All are female oriented films with heroines capturing the heroic image.

Charmy is again coming with her next film, directed by Famous bapu titled as Sundarakanda which has again the heroine in the limelight.

Mumaith Khan who was only limited as a item girl is coming with her next movie titled as Mangatayaru tiffin center.

So, beware all the Tollywood hero’s as the heroines are in the driving seats now.
