The long-awaited film sekhar Kammula published today. The tall actor, who looked promising, Rana, debuted with this. The expectations are really high and we will see how things were in line with expectations.
History:
Chief Minister Sanjeevayya (Suman) is killed in a landmine attack. His son Arjun Prasad (Rana) decreases as next CM, but after a number of political parties with their opponents and power greedy Dhanunjay (Subba Raju). Arjun’s paternal uncle (KOTA) also moves against Arjun.
Arjun is idealistic in nature and want to change the rules of the political system in the state. So where is the success? What is the method chosen to make this change? How people react to that? Who helped in their cause? How many enemies try to stop him? All that history forms.
Performances:
Rana law deserves praise for his performance. It has underestimated the role as per requirement. His voice and diction are good. If you concentrate better in the development of expressions, which will be a promising actor.
Richa Gangopadhyay is like a pure poetry in some scenes. The credit goes to costumes and photography department.
Priya Anand looks good but his role is not appropriate in the narrative.
Subba Raju, the antagonist, played very well and histrionics to the mark. Harshavardhan is perfectly attuned at its leading role, yes, man. Ramesh Rao made his presence felt even with his small role. Kota Sreenivasa Rao is serious. Director would have used the best with a satirical and humorous dialogues, as the audience expects in general. Udaya Bhanu arrested in the eyes of the audience with its serial number. The others are fine.
The cinematography is good. Music and RR are wonderful. It’s really the RR (Re-Recording) that led to the telling emotional grip.
Highlights:
Off with the landmine attack on CM Udayabhanu dose of glamor in the point number. In the first song, where Rana visits every neighborhood and every corner of society to understand, is good. A scene at the Frog makes a cloth to a woman through the water, Attenborough recalls a bit of “Gandhi”.
Rana dialogue about their willingness to die after dealing with RS 1 Lakh crore scheme brought clapping in theaters.
Old dialogue with the chief minister of his daughter
Memorable Dialogues those attracted Claps and whistles:
Tanikella “Ivaala pani nijayiteega cheyyadamantene tyagam chesinattu anukuntunnaaru”
Gollapudi frog “undochchu yellu meeku 70-80. Gandhini Meeru taaki undochchu. Nehruni EE kallatho choosier undochchu. Anubhavam Mee chaduvu antaa avineetiki dhaaraposaaru. Postunaaru … .. Entha Meeru Entha oodithey smear?”
Old Man with frog: CM Aadapillaki nyaayam cheyyaleni Entha Entha oodithey smear?
Disappointments:
Priya Anand character seemed to be waste. The film should work better without her character.
DI was observed problems here and there obscured the clarity of the image on the screen
Suhasini death and funeral scenes are very weak
Analysis:
It is a sincere effort by the director to draw the current political scenario in independent India. It has chosen the theme of political corruption as the curse of the system. Many movies have come to the corruption. And it’s a different story.
The film also features some idealistic ideas of black smoke out of public money to prevent the state debt with the World Bank et al.
Everything is fine. But in this drama where many political technicalities are involved, chances are that the director can lose mass audience, despite that impresses the public believes them.
The director has taken many cinematic liberties, and those who seek audience in the face of another to find the lack of conviction. And some obvious mistakes:
When the chief minister dies, only men come to visit his dead body. When the Chief Minister’s wife dies, only the women come to visit her funeral Howzzat? What is gender discrimination?
The son of the CM rides on the roads and no one identified in today’s world where the media is so rampant. Can anyone imagine YS Jagan LOKESH or walking the streets and no one identifies them? That is not convincing. Director would have shown that CM’s son goes in disguise masses.
Less track leading heroines’ would have been the best product. Director had said these things better go with the main theme at the minute lost track called romance. With little care, the film has become the standard of ‘Sarkar’!
There are many moments in the film where the head touches the hearts of audiences and brings tears to my eyes.
First half of the film becomes the rhythm of the scene from the beginning and gives a captivating touch interval. The public were thoughtfully pulled the screen. That is the magic created by the director. And that magic leaves the public expects something big in the second half. The rhythm goes with ups and downs, but some promising scene appears immediately after the old.
The scenes run faster since then, culminating in the climax in the idealistic tone. It is a sincere effort by the director with his understanding. The hearings are connected to it, the connection of the film to the current political conditions.
The film undoubtedly attracts large crowds because of the image obtained by the director with his previous film “Happy Days”. The content of the appeals of the film for B and C center audience, and if connected to current political conditions and watch. On the whole product is a sincere and good.
