Kantri scripted against Congress Government
KANTRI which is going to be released on 9th May seems like it is scripted against the present congress government in the state. According to the unit crew of KANTRI, in one scene in which the hero NTR rides a Bicycle and when he is ridiculed by his friends he utters a dialogue that the people who believed in riding a cycle have become chief ministers of the state and this fact is not going to stop with one person. Another dialogue in Kantri says that the present government neglects the farmers, while the past government worked for the farmers.
These dialogues are surely projected at the present ruling party. But when Junior NTR was asked the same he diplomatically evaded the question by saying that he neither has the experience nor the age to comment on politics. But he surely hinted that the film will have the dialogues which will mirror the present social problems.
But according to the censor board officials, this film seems like a campaign for Telugu desam party and will clearly portray the TDP as a divine party. But since there are neither objectionalble scenes nor dialogues it has been cleared with an A/U certificate.
